This year New York and The Netherlands celebrate 400 years of enduring friendship. During NY400 Governors Island will be turned over to the New Island Festival. It will combine the unique site-specific theatrical programming of the ‘Oerol festival’, and a bustling festival centred in the tradition of the ‘Parade’. And when you say ' Parade' you say Silent Disco!! On ' Boulevard of Broken Dreams' DJ noDJ, Dj Big King Bing and DJ Steven Guts will be there from September 10-20 to get New York to DANCE! At day time the DJs bring adventure stories and fairy tales in the midst of exciting dance workshops for kids, and at night get your groove on and dance till you drop!! On sunday the 23rd of August Silent Disco will be at the Spijkenisse Festival from 14.00 till 18.00. This time with a special program for kids. With the telling of fairy tales, soundscapes and the old fashion disco, dj Funky Monkey and his lovely assistants will make this day one to tell your grandchildren.
And for the grown ups, you don't need to use your children, or your friends children as an excuse to join. You're welcome! |

It's that time of the year.... Silent Disco@ Lowlands!! We have been in Lowlands for so many years now, we lost count. It just feels so natural.. If you've been to the Silent Disco at Lowlands you know what we mean. If you haven't, there's no time like now! What makes this year very special is that Converse has "adopted" the Silent Disco and this cooperation has same great extra's. You can choose between two channels on your headset. One with our very our and oh-so-fantastic dj's Steven Guts, djOD. On the other channels, a special dj line-up by Converse.
